It has been an eventful 2025 at Tell Media Group. On February 1, we received the keys to our new home at Sysslomansgatan 9B in Uppsala – a very suitable address for a company informing and connecting the asset management industry. The street has been known at least since the 1640s and the name refers to ”syssloman” – a Swedish term for a person or entity with the mandate to manage another’s financial affairs and in this case for the Uppsala Cathedral.
During the spring we also dedicated a lot of effort into building a new website – have a look at www.tellmediagroup.se. We strive to create a destination where people from across the Nordic asset management ecosystem (asset managers, fund selectors, institutional investors, distributors and service providers) will find valuable information, insight and inspiration.
In order to deliver on our ambitions to bring valuable insights to the industry we’ve recently recruited Vilhelm Hultgren to the role as Chief Research Officer. A key task, in addition to producing insights for our magazine, website and reports, will be for him to meet people from across the industry to build an even deeper understanding of what’s important.
Taking a step back from our internal work, we’ve been proud sponsors of IFU Arena – a floorball arena in Uppsala – for three years, contributing to the younger generation having the opportunity to practice this Swedish-born sport. We’ve also been positively surprised to see our court prominently displayed on Swedish public TV this fall when the very popular show “Allt för Sverige” did a segment where the participants played floorball on our court (picture below – photo credit SVT).
