Nordic Fund Selection Awards 2025


The 16th annual Nordic Fund Selection Awards, held on November 19, 2025, at Fotografiska in Stockholm, convened leading institutional investors and fund selectors from across the Nordic region to celebrate excellence in fund and manager selection. The event featured a seminar focused on investment opportunities in 2026, with keynote presentations covering topics from evolving credit markets and equities strategies to the rise of AI in investment and pension fund evolution toward conscious investing. Highlights included insights from Mussie Kidane of Pictet North America Advisors on the art of fund selection and Johan Norberg’s keynote during the awards dinner reflecting on historical golden ages and future optimism.

The Awards recognized outstanding performers in various categories, with PensionDanmark, KEVA, Storebrand Asset Management, and Söderberg & Partners named as the top Danish, Finnish, Norwegian, and Swedish fund selection teams, respectively. Grieg Investor was honored as the Nordic Investment Consultancy of the Year, while DNB and LD Pensions received accolades for Nordic equity and fixed income mandate/fund searches. A new category, Nordic Family Office Investor of the Year, was awarded to AltoCumulus, noted for their innovative and modern approach to investments. The methodology for selecting winners combined surveys of 23 fund companies rating fund selectors on professionalism, communication, ESG integration, and impact.

The event also offered valuable selector insights through a Q&A session, where top teams discussed their 2026 investment focus areas—ranging from private credit, healthcare, and small caps to sustainable and mission-related investments—and shared viewpoints on managing relationships with external managers.
