Eva Halvarsson is the CEO of the second Swedish government pension fund, AP2. She started her career at the Swedish Ministry of Transport and Communications from where she moved on to the Swedish ministry of industry. She has headed the second Swedish government pension fund since 2006 and also has an active role in the boards of different companies and organisations in Sweden. Currently she also sits at the board of UN-PRI as a representative selected by the asset owners.

WHAT JOB OR EVENT HAS TAUGHT YOU THE MOST IN YOUR LIFE SO FAR? There are two major things that have shaped my thinking and have taught me the most. The first one is my father’s death. He died when I was 10 and only much later have I understood how much that has affected me.
