A review of some of the news that caught our attention during this week.
First, it’s hard to avoid the continued tariff headlines and the return of the global trade war coming from the US – or in the words of the Financial Times, “The return of ‘tariff man’: the week Donald Trump revived the global trade war”. On the international scene, Jupiter has acquired CCLA Investment Management Limited. CCLA is the UK’s largest asset manager focusing on serving non-profit organisations. They manage over GBP 15 billion of assets on behalf of charitable institutions, religious organisations and local authorities.
