FBNW has previously written about the digitalisation work at Nordnet and its ambition to launch a robo-advisor and today the service was officially launched. In a press release Peter Dahlgren, the CEO of Nordnet, says that today’s launch of a robo-advisor signals the biggest shift in the company’s business model since the launch some 20 years ago.
To use the service (called “Robosave”), clients will need to make an initial deposit of at least SEK 5000 and sign up for a monthly saving scheme of SEK 500. Through a digital questionnaire, Nordnet will ask a number of questions about, among other things, risk profile and will then present a suggestion for a portfolio of ETF’s. The fee for the Robosave service will be 0.50 per cent per year, in addition to the fee for underlying ETFs.
