The discussion started with the asset managers sharing their thoughts on where we are right now with regards to small caps and where they see the market developing going forward.
Jim Shore: “I think it’s been the asset class that has always held out promise, but it has been a difficult stretch for investors within the small cap space over the last several years. It was particularly hard hit when we saw that rapid rise in interest rates in 2021. We do think that a lot of the headwinds that small caps have faced over the last years are starting to lessen and valuations look much more compelling in an overall equity market that looks quite expensive to us.
