Fidante appoints Robert Elfström as sales director for Nordics and Benelux

Fidante Partners, a global multi-affiliate investment manager, has recruited Robert Elfström as sales director, public markets for the Nordics and Benelux. He will be based in the company’s Stockholm office.

At Fidante, Robert Elfström will be responsible for developing an investor engagement strategy targeted at both wholesale and institutional channels in the Nordics and Benelux. The position will focus on supporting Fidante’s open-ended fund range of affiliate managers. Robert Elfström will be joining Ian Brenninkmeijer, who is already covering private markets for Fidante out of the Stockholm office.

Fidante is one of Australia’s largest active investors with approximately USD 62 billion in assets under management. The company offers strategies across equities, fixed income, and alternative assets via partnerships with leading investment teams.

Robert Elfström brings more than two decades of experience in fund management distribution and business development. His most recent role was at BMO Global Asset Management, where he established the BMO brand in the Nordic region. Prior to this position, he spent a decade as a sales director for the Nordic region at Franklin Templeton Investments, having begun his career as a client service executive for the Nordic region at Gartmore.
