LGIM adds to Nordics institutional team

In a press release, the company writes that the expansion of the LGIM Nordics team underscores the firm’s ambitious growth strategy, aimed at further expanding its presence in continental Europe.

Pontus Grönlund will work alongside Anders Årjes to continue to offer and grow LGIM’s range of active and index investment solutions as well as LGIM’s responsible investment proposition. He will cover Sweden, Denmark, Finland and Norway. In addition, Pontus Grönlund will also have a focus on private markets and look to support the firm’s growth plans in this space.

Pontus Grönlund, who is joining LGIM from a role as head of research at Altocumulus Asset Management, will be based in the company’s Stockholm office and will report to Anders Årjes, head of Nordics.
