Claudia Stanghellini has worked at the third Swedish AP fund for almost two decades. During her tenure at AP3 she has held positions from analyst to portfolio manager and currently works as the head of external management. Before arriving to Sweden, she studied and worked in her native country Italy as well as in London UK and Boston US. Claudia is one of the driving forces behind Kvinnokapital, the Swedish networking group for women working in the financial industry, and currently serves as the organisation’s chairwoman of the board.
WHAT DID YOU DREAM OF BECOMING AS A CHILD? Being brought up in the Tuscan countryside and loving nature and animals, my dream job as a child was to become a forest ranger in order to protect woods, biological diversity and wildlife. I remember that one of the first children’s magazine I bought saving my weekly allowance was a WWF child publication which I read over and over again for several months.
