In our review of news linked to the Nordic asset management ecosystem, one thing we of course need to highlight is our Nordic Fund Selection Forum, a Fondbar as well as a roundtable focused on fixed income and ESG.

Earlier this week we travelled to Copenhagen for our Nordic Fund Selection Forum, hosted in cooperation with Allspring Global Investments, BNP Paribas Asset Management, Capital Group and NinetyOne – who joined with fund managers covering EM equities & EM debt, credit investments as well as sustainability strategies.

We also benefitted from a panel discussion where John Hydeskov from AkademikerPension, Erik Bennike from PensionDanmark and Magdalena Högberg from Swedish AP4 shared their thoughts on the pros and cons of externally managed assets in portfolios. In Copenhagen we also sat down for a roundtable where we discussed the current state and future development of fixed income and ESG together with Aegon Asset Management, PGIM Fixed Income and State Street Investment Management as well as some Danish investors.
