Another big acquisition on the asset management front is to close at the beginning of next year when the US financial giant Goldman Sachs Asset Management will close EUR 1.6 billion deal to acquire the Dutch asset manager NN Investment Partners.
Goldman Sachs, which currently has USD 2.3 trillion (EUR 2 trillion) in assets under management globally, said the deal will bring its assets under supervision in Europe to over USD 600 billion. It will also take over the mangement of USD 190 billion portfolio of NN Group’s assets as part of the deal.
